Canadian residents over 15 years old who have a valid social insurance number, who are employed or independant at the time of submitting a request, who have earned at least $5 000 in 2019 or in 2020 and who have been absent for at least 60% of their normally scheduled work within the week for which they request the benefit

Services

Taxable $500 per week benefit for up to 2 weeks for workers who cannot work because they are sick or must self-isolate for reasons related to COVID-19.

Eligibility

Canadian residents over 15 years old who have a valid social insurance number, who are employed or independant at the time of submitting a request, who have earned at least $5 000 in 2019 or in 2020 and who have been absent for at least 60% of their normally scheduled work within the week for which they request the benefit
