Health care services provided by nurses and students under the supervision of a professor.
- Clinical consultations: blood sampling, health assessment, treatment of urinary tract infections and capillary glycemia, RAMQ-covered vaccines, ear cleaning, staple and suture removal, wound and blood pressure monitoring.
- Consultation with trainees and, if needed, a nurse practitioner specialized in primary care (IPS-PL) from CISSS-MÉ: diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses, screening for chronic diseases, disease prevention (only available to CEGEP students and employees).
- Youth clinic in partnership with the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de la Montérégie-Est: contraception, pregnancy tests, support in deciding whether to continue or terminate a pregnancy, STBBI screening, HPV and hepatitis A and B vaccinations.
Eligibility
health care provided by nursing interns and consultation with a nurse practitioner specialized in primary care: Longueuil residents, student community and staff members of Cégep Édouard-Montpetit and École nationale d'aérotechnique, youth clinic: Longueuil residents 12 to 24 years old, student community and staff members of Cégep Édouard-Montpetit and École nationale d'aérotechnique
