Application of the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms.

• Reception of complaints related to discrimination and harassment as governed by the Charter and related to the exploitation of elderly or disabled persons.
• Protection of children's rights as defined by the Youth Protection Act and by the Youth Criminal Justice Act, investigation when rights seem to have been violated.
• Application of the Access to Equality in Employment Act in public organizations.
• Information sessions on rights and freedoms under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, as well as on the rights of children under the Youth Protection Act.
