Services

Legal aid services, free or at a low cost to eligible individuals, provided by family, matrimonial, youth protection, young offenders, criminal and penal, administrative, social, civil and immigration lawyers or notaries.

* Representation before a first instance or appeal court, as plaintiff or defendant.

* Assistance in certain cases expressly provided for in the Legal Aid Act.

* Legal consultation.

* Phone consultation: available 24/7 for detention or custody.

* Legal information regarding rights and obligations of legal aid recipients.

* Community involvement.

* Complaints reception.

Monday to Friday 8h30 to 12h00 and 13h00 to 16h30

Fees

people may be eligible for free legal aid or contributory legal aid between $100 and 800, depending on their financial situation, see scale on website
