* Emergency food assistance on referral from a social worker.

* Food baskets pick-up points in several organizations of Mercier-Est.

* Christmas baskets for members.

* Sale and donation of used items: books, toys, school supplies, kitchen utensils, etc. Activities

* Zero waste activities: cooking workshops, gardening, sewing, production of hygiene and household products. Compensatory or community work

* Packing and delivery of food baskets, collection and sorting of used items, etc.

Details on the service offer

Christmas Baskets 2025: Distribution of Christmas baskets for members of Frigo de l'est and for non-members living in H1N or H1M. Two sizes are available at $5 or $10. The registration period for members is from November 11 to 21, 2025. The registration period for non-members is November 25 to 27, 2025. Registrations can be made online via the frigodelest.org website, Food Aid section, Make an Appointment button. Alternatively, they can be made by phone at 514 447-8114 or in person at 6055 Hochelaga on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9h30 to 16h00. Distribution will take place on December 23 at 6055 Hochelaga from 11h00 to 18h30. Holiday schedule: closed from December 29 to January 2, 2026. 11/14/2025
