Refundable tax credit for caregivers.
- Component for people providing care to a person 18 years old or over who has a severe and prolonged impairment in mental or physical functions and needs assistance in carrying out a basic activity of daily living.
- Component for people providing care to and living with a relative 70 years old or over.
Eligibility
people who have provided care to a person 18 years old or over living with a severe and prolonged impairment in mental or physical function and who have lived with this person for at least a year, people who have provided care to a person 18 years old or over living with a severe and prolonged impairment in mental or physical functions, people who have lived with a person that isn't their spouse, 70 years old or over and without an impairment
