Social affairs section sub-division. Review Board for mental disorder

* Evaluates the files of people charged with a criminal offence and found not responsible or unfit to stand trial by a criminal court.

* Assess the risk to public safety.

* Rules on the release or detention of individuals and assesses their mental health on an annual basis. Persons confined in a hospital

* Rules on cases concerning the Act respecting the protection of persons whose mental state presents a danger to themselves or to others.
